March & April 2011-Mom I'm Pregnant!

In March and April  I started shopping at my local nurseries for seeds and plants for the garden. I also bought some decorative items like a birdbath and some solar lighting. My yard has alot of rocks buried in it from when they built the house.  So in the process of digging  up the yard for gardening, I dug up severl rocks-both big and small and used them for decorating as well. I should have taken photos of my garden but I didn't so sorry :(  
I got some planting done-in late March I planted broccoli and cabbage, lettuce and spinach.
I also got some exciting news. My youngest daughter, Marian, told me she was pregnant! She's 23. And she also had been taking some classes in Independence, her dentist is also there, so we drove there at least 2 times a week, sometimes more. Her dental insurance was only going to be in effect a few more months so she had to crowd several appointments into a short period of time. I was born and raised in Independence and was excited to be visiting there so often. While Marian was in her class I would go to a yarn shop, coffee shop, or walk around the square. I actually thought about moving there from Belton but there was a slight conflict in where I desired to live. Independence, Mo, OR Florida!...
